MPN-MATE Research Foundation, is a very small group of rare blood cancer patients who came together to create greater awareness of rare blood cancer & to help provide support to people suffering with one of these rare types of blood cancer. We created a 'Patient's FORUM "Blood Cancer Information" Website to help improve a patient's blood cancer journey, by education & by providing a venue where people can learn how to better manage their condition. We later registered ourselves as a ACNC 'Not For Profit' where we endeavour to find ways to fundraise to aid research projects into these rare types of blood cancer. To any observer, rare blood cancer patients' might look & sound perfectly fine. However, these types of rare blood cancers are known for being very disturbing to live with & manage, often referred to as an 'Invisible' illness. In these past two (2) years, our main fundraising was always performed by Steven's cycling efforts, unfortunately, again in these past two years, he was run over by motor vehicles and is still trying to be fully fit to attempt another effort soon. In the interim, we are hoping to hold a few Bunnings Sausage Sizzles in order to raise some much-needed funding... However, that's why we need some volunteers to aid our efforts... We are hoping the first of these will be held at Castle Hill Bunnings into the New Year of 2026, (date to be confirmed)
