Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. is a not-for-profit cat rescue dedicated to giving sick, injured, abused, abandoned and neglected cats a second chance at life. Every day we care for animals that have nowhere else to go, and we simply couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers. We are currently looking for volunteers in a variety of roles, including: • Foster Carers • Administration • Cleaning & Animal Care • Adoption Coordinators • Fundraising • Grant Writing • Event Support • General Rescue Assistance Let's be honest rescue isn't always glamorous. There will be days that break your heart. You'll see animals at their worst. You'll get dirty, you'll be tired, and sometimes you'll wonder how you'll fit one more thing into your day. But you'll also witness incredible transformations. You'll watch frightened cats learn to trust again, sick kittens recover, and families meet their new best friend. You'll celebrate adoptions, save lives, and become part of a supportive team that shares the same passion for animal welfare. The rewards are immeasurable. We're looking for people who are: • Honest and reliable • Compassionate and caring • Willing to work as part of a team • Ready to learn • Able to commit to helping regularly • Passionate about improving the lives of cats Requirements • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) – essential & can be done through us. • Police Check – preferred but not essential • A genuine commitment to animal welfare • A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Whether you can spare a few hours each week or are interested in becoming a foster carer, every contribution helps save lives. You don't need previous rescue experience—we'll provide guidance and support. What matters most is your commitment, reliability and willingness to help.
