Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. is a registered not-for-profit cat rescue dedicated to giving sick, injured, abused, abandoned and neglected cats a second chance at life. We are passionate about animal welfare and rely on the dedication of our volunteers to continue making a difference in our community.

Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for reliable, compassionate people to assist in a range of roles, including:

• Administration and general office support
• Transportation of cats to appointments
• Cleaning cat areas, equipment and facilities
• Foster caring for cats and kittens (home-based)
• Adoption support and customer enquiries
• Event planning and attendance
• Fundraising initiatives
• Grant writing and sponsorship applications
• General rescue assistance as required

Skills & Experience

Previous rescue experience is not essential—we provide support and guidance. What matters most is that you are:

• Honest, reliable and committed
• Compassionate and respectful towards animals and people
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Willing to learn and follow rescue policies and procedures
• Prepared to commit to your chosen role

A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required and can be obtained through us. A Police Check is preferred but not mandatory.
