The Halo Foundation for Families and Children Inc aims to provide a “one stop shop” where parents can find advocates, legal advice, financial advice, psychological support, classes on topics such as parenting or conflict management and more all from one source. As far as we are aware, no other charity in Australia provides, or aims to provide, such a service. We believe that how a society treats families at their most vulnerable reveals who we really are. If we can hold safety and love, accountability and compassion, children’s rights and parents’ dignity in the same conversation then we are building something bigger than a service. We are building a different kind of story for families in Australia.
