Yellow Dove Australia is an Australian registered charity dedicated to empowering communities through sustainable education, health, wellbeing and community development initiatives. We partner with local communities, governments and organisations to design and deliver programs that strengthen local capacity, create employment opportunities and promote long-term social impact. Our work is founded on the principle that sustainable development is achieved by investing in people. Rather than delivering short-term aid, we work alongside communities to develop local leadership, provide accredited training, and establish programs that continue to operate independently after project completion. This community-led approach ensures lasting outcomes that are culturally appropriate, locally owned and responsive to community needs. Since 2024, Yellow Dove Australia has delivered a range of initiatives across Timor-Leste, including health promotion, first aid, water safety, education and community development projects. Our programs have created local employment, trained community leaders and improved access to essential knowledge and services, while fostering stronger, healthier and more resilient communities.
