Anglicare is seeking two enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to assist with our vibrant playgroups held at Cabramatta School during the school term.

We are looking for:

A Vietnamese-Speaking Playgroup Volunteer: To support our fortnightly Vietnamese playgroup.

Cabramatta Public School

About the Role:

As a Playgroup Volunteer, you will play a valuable role in creating a welcoming and stimulating environment for young children (0-5 years) and their caregivers. Your tasks may include:

Assisting with setting up and packing away play activities. Interacting with children and encouraging their participation in activities.

Supporting the Playgroup Facilitator in delivering planned activities. Creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere for families. Providing support to parents and caregivers.

Crucially, for each role, you will need to be a confident speaker of either Chinese or Vietnamese to effectively communicate with the families attending that specific playgroup.
