We are looking for a kind and dedicated volunteer who would like to commit to weekly or fortnightly 1:1 visits with an elderly Hindi speaking resident in a Kingswood Residential Aged Care Home. Your companionship in sharing culture and stories can make a world of difference. If this sounds like you,

• Provide companionship and support to elderly resident in care home
• Weekly or fortnightly visits commitment for 1-2 hours
• Training provided through Anglicare Training Modules

• Assist with service delivery and client support in pantry program
• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environment for community members
• Gain valuable experience in community services and social impact

• Provide exceptional customer service and operate POS system
• Maintain organised pantry, restock and rotate stock efficiently
• Contribute ideas, work in a team, and align with values

• Flexible hours between morning and afternoon shifts

• Provide 1:1 visits to elderly residents in Aged Care

• Requirements include C class license, police check, and medical

• Applicants must be 18 years or older; receive support

• Support residents with card assistance in fun and engaging environment
• Respectfully engage with elderly residents, prioritize reliability.

• Support residents in painting activities and encourage creativity
• Engage with older people, set up materials, and build connections
• Ideal for friendly, patient individuals interested in arts activities

• Assist residents with knitting activities, offering guidance and encouragement
• Experience with knitting required; all skill levels welcome
• Friendly, compassionate nature; passion for working with older adults

• Support physiotherapists in group exercise classes for elderly residents
• Engage in exercises, offer encouragement, and foster connections with residents
• Require caring attitude, interest in health, good communication skills

• Volunteer with well-behaved, fully vaccinated dog for pet visits
