About the Role

As a Community Pantry Volunteer, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the pantry program and help ensure community members have a positive and supportive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with service delivery of the Community Pantry Program
• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Supporting client registrations and sign-ins
• Assisting with food handling
• Food set up and pack up
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Supporting the team with general pantry operations

About You

• We are looking for someone who:
• Has a genuine desire to help others
• Brings a positive, can-do attitude
• Enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds
• Has customer service experience (helpful but not essential)
• Has cash handling skills (helpful but not essential)
• Works well within a team environment
• Is reliable, respectful, and community-focused
