Anglicare is seeking confident volunteers to assist in our Taren Point Village Residential Care CAFE. The hours of operation are 9.15 - 11.30 7 days a week & you're welcome to be involved 1 or more days. The role will serving tea/coffee/snacks to our residents & having a chat, interacting with a smile & caring connection. There are several online modules to be completed prior to commencing - you will be required to finalise these as part of the onboarding process.

Anglicare is looking for committed volunteers to visit our residents on a 1;1 basis. you will chat with them, read a paper/book, play a game, perhaps go for a walk & generally connect with them & develop a friendship over time. Your visits are planned around your availability & their daily schedule etc. & approx. 1hr in duration.

We are seeking committee volunteers to assist our Activities team [lifestyle] in general areas - games visiting events, 1:1 visiting etc Timing is up to you - preferably AM [9-12 or PM [1.30-4] for a minimum of an hour each visit/session.

Pet interaction Anglicare is looking for committed volunteers who have a lovely compliant pet [dog/cat/bird] who would be happy to visit our lovely residents. Your pet will need a Vet reference [suitability for Aged Care - non scratching, jumping, barking etc] & a current vaccination certificate or details. Onboarding involves training modules [approx. 3+hrs] & everything is done online. Variable times - 9-12 & 1-4 every day

• Volunteer for one hour weekly to brighten her week
• Training and ongoing support provided by Volunteer Coordinator

• Provide IT assistance and friendly social support to elderly client
• Enhance quality of life and reduce isolation through regular visits
• Training provided, one-hour visits, fortnightly commitment, flexible scheduling

• Engage in companionship visits with elderly, providing conversation & support
• Flexible scheduling between 9am-5pm, weekly or fortnightly visits
• No special skills required, just a genuine love for connecting

• Contribute to rescuing pre-loved items from landfills
• Help raise vital funds to support vulnerable people in Australia
• Engage with customers, process transactions, create displays, maintain shop

• Safely transport senior clients to social group outings
• Inspect and maintain bus; assist elderly clients boarding/exiting
• Coordinate routes, communicate with staff, report incidents promptly

• Provide companionship and social support to senior residents
• Respect rights of older residents, maintain confidentiality and dignity
• Required COVID-19 vaccinations, NDIS screening check, and training provided

• Contribute to Vinnies shop operations and community support
• Engage in various retail tasks like customer service and sales
