Community Connection & Wellbeing Event Hosts – Groups & Individuals Welcome

LifeLinkConnect is an ACNC-registered charity working to reduce loneliness and social isolation through safe, welcoming community connection.

We are inviting volunteer groups and individual volunteers to help host LifeLinkConnect Community Connection Afternoon Tea events across Perth. Our upcoming event will be held on Friday, 26 June 2026 at 1:00 pm at Willetton Seniors Centre, 2/145 High Road, Willetton WA 6155.

What you will do

Volunteers will help welcome attendees, support light and respectful conversation, assist with simple set-up, refreshments and pack-down, and help create a friendly atmosphere where people feel comfortable, included and valued.

No previous experience is required. We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, reliable, respectful and comfortable engaging with adults from diverse backgrounds.

The impact you will make

Your time, presence and kindness can help create a space where people feel less alone and more connected to their community.

LifeLinkConnect may also invite local government representatives, including council officers and councillors, to attend some events and observe the community connection work firsthand. This also provides an opportunity to recognise and acknowledge the valuable contribution made by volunteers.

We therefore welcome corporate teams, public sector teams, community groups and individual volunteers who would like to help create safe and welcoming community connection.

Separately, LifeLinkConnect may also have paid casual opportunities, including Volunteer Liaison and Event Coordinator roles, generally paid at approximately $30–$50 per hour depending on the role and relevant experience. Interested volunteers are welcome to express their interest for consideration.
