🌿 Volunteer Gardener – Clelland Lodge Calling all green thumbs and gardening wizards! Do you love being outdoors? Does fresh air, sunshine and the satisfaction of nurturing a garden bring you joy?
Clelland Lodge in North Nowra is seeking Volunteer Gardeners who enjoy spending time outside and take pride in creating beautiful, thriving garden spaces.
Our gardens are an important part of daily life for our residential aged care community. They offer colour, fragrance, calm and connection — and we’re looking for someone who shares a genuine love of plants and the outdoors to help them flourish.
About the Role This is a hands-on, outdoor volunteer role perfect for someone who enjoys pottering, planting and maintaining garden beds.
Tasks may include: Weeding and tidying garden beds Pruning and trimming shrubs Planting seasonal flowers and greenery Watering and general garden care Helping keep pathways and outdoor areas neat and inviting You’ll largely work independently, with the freedom to enjoy the peaceful outdoor setting while making a visible difference.
About You We’re looking for someone who: Loves gardening and being outdoors Enjoys physical, practical activity Takes pride in maintaining beautiful spaces Is reliable and able to commit to a few hours weekly or fortnightly No formal qualifications required — just a passion for gardens and a willingness to contribute.
