**Are you passionate about helping others and giving back to your community? **We are looking for compassionate and reliable volunteers to support our No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) program. NILS provides access to safe and affordable loans for people on low incomes, helping individuals and families purchase essential household items without the burden of interest or fees.

About the Role

As a NILS Volunteer, you will support clients with our Microfinance team through the loan application process while providing a welcoming and professional experience

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with NILS applications and enquiries
• Provide friendly customer service and administrative support
• Help clients gather required documentation
• Support appointment scheduling and data entry
• Work alongside staff to ensure smooth service delivery
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

About You

• Friendly, empathetic, and community-minded
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and confidence using email and online systems
• Organised and reliable
• Customer service or administration experience is helpful but not essential
• Passion for helping people experiencing financial hardship
• Requirements
• National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to commit to regular volunteer shifts
• Working With Children Check may be required
