Cups of Tea, Canines & Cosy Crafts! HammondCare Central Coast is looking for a Community Social Volunteer to visit with an elderly lady in Glenning Valley once per week. If you have half an hour to spare and a caring nature, this could be the perfect way to brighten someone’s day — including your own.

As a Gig Buddies’ volunteer you will assist an adult with mild to moderate learning disability and/or autism to access the community and attend events (and have fun!).

You will be provided training and ongoing support to do this. You and your buddy will go to an event (gig) or catch up once a month for at least 12 months.

You and your buddy choose the events you both want to attend.

Run by Community Support & Outreach Services (Community SOS), the People's Pantry is a food Co-Op & Pantry offering groceries at a low cost to low income earners. We also have free food such as bread & fresh produce (subject to availability). The People's Pantry is located at Yaringaa Building, John Hoare Close, WOY WOY. It is open every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 11.30am to 2.30pm. Community SOS offers support services, community programs and advocacy to assist people in hardship.
