We are looking for a brilliant Events Volunteer to help us "Spring to Life" for our Warrah Spring Picnic! A joyful, heartfelt day celebrating and supporting people with profound intellectual disability.
Warrah is a not-for-profit organisation based in Dural, supporting children and adults with disability through a range of tailored services including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Support, a Biodynamic Farm, an Organic Farm Shop, and a Specialist School.
We have a great volunteer opportunity for a woodwork trainer to share their skills with our students who have moderate to severe disabilities. Your experience can help make a positive difference in their learning.
We have a unique and exciting volunteer opportunity for a talented weaver to share their skills with our students who have moderate to severe disabilities.
We are looking for someone who can help with the gardening or groundsman work at the school. The school grounds need regular cleaning, gardening, trimming bushes and trees, leave blowing etc. Ideally the person can also repair small things and help with small tasks like hanging pictures, building small shelves and etc. Preferably supply own tools.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by recruiting & supporting volunteers across all areas of the centre while maintaining volunteer engagement and retention.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by helping to source, organise and run fundraising events.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with light gardening duties on the property. - This role is not as physically demanding as property maintenance volunteers and may be suitable to someone with physical issues which require minimal lifting or carrying of heavy items.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with overall cleaning and organising of the main building, both internal & external.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by being first point of contact for all visitors as well as assisting with volunteer engagement and retention.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by assisting with horse preparation, leading of horses in program sessions, assistance with life skills/groundwork sessions and assisting in the pack up and return of horses to the paddock.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre Equine programs by participating in tasks as directed by the Coach. Equine program assistants have a primary role to support RDA Coaches for sessions.
To support the RDA(NSW) Tall Timbers Centre by undertaking a range of Property Maintenance tasks.
