Fairfield Children’s Week Event | Tuesday 29 September 2026 | One-day volunteer opportunity Join us as a Children’s Week Event Support Volunteer and help bring Fairfield’s Children’s Week celebration to life. You’ll be part of a friendly team supporting event set up, activities, crowd flow and pack down—no two moments will be the same!

• Provide companionship to elderly gentleman speaking Tagalog
• Minimum commitment of 1 hour visit once a fortnight
• Training, support, and police check covered by the scheme

• Provide companionship and social support to elderly residents
• Speak Greek and engage in activities like playing cards, chatting
• Volunteer commitment of at least 20 visits over a year

• Visit elderly residents in aged care homes for companionship
• Engage in activities like chatting, walking, reading, and listening
• Must speak German, pass background check, and commit consistently

• Contribute to shop operations and customer experience
• Assist in sorting, pricing, and displaying donations
• No experience needed, training provided; diverse workforce encouraged

• Contribute to shop operations by assisting customers and processing sales
• No experience required, in-store training provided for all tasks
• Opportunity to gain retail experience, share expertise, and build friendships

• Provide excellent service to customers and donors
• Physically fit with manual stock handling experience preferred
• Current valid driver's license required for driver role
