We're on the lookout for a compassionate female Aboriginal volunteer who can make regular 1:1 visits to a culturally-isolated female Aboriginal elder living in an aged care home in Wyoming on NSW's Central Coast.
Just an hour a week can help reduce her feeling of isolation from her culture and will support her to stay connected to what's important for her wellbeing.

Anglicare is seeking confident volunteers to assist in our Taren Point Village Residential Care CAFE. The hours of operation are 9.15 - 11.30 7 days a week & you're welcome to be involved 1 or more days. The role will serving tea/coffee/snacks to our residents & having a chat, interacting with a smile & caring connection. There are several online modules to be completed prior to commencing - you will be required to finalise these as part of the onboarding process.
Anglicare is looking for committed volunteers to visit our residents on a 1;1 basis. you will chat with them, read a paper/book, play a game, perhaps go for a walk & generally connect with them & develop a friendship over time. Your visits are planned around your availability & their daily schedule etc. & approx. 1hr in duration.
