Our purpose is to advance education, employment, health & wellbeing for families challenged with autism by fundraising. Jacob Williams was fortunate enough to participate in the early intervention program the AEIOU Foundation’s program provide for children with autism. The program made a profound and positive impact to Jacob and his family. Steve, Jacob’s Dad wanted to give back and together with a bunch of his old university mates came together and Team Jacob was born in 2012. Team Jacob has raised funds volunteering directly for AEIOU Foundation over the past 12 years through events including the Team Jacob Champions Challenge and the Team Jacob Boutique Beer Lunch. The money raised at these events has helped the AEIOU Foundation in a number of ways including assisting to bridge AEIOU's funding gap in running their early intervention program for children with autism and contributing directly to enhancing in centre facilities for kids participating in the program. In April 2022, Team Jacob volunteered directly for Fight4Balance and held the inaugural Team Jacob Comedy Night, recognising that other organisations need funding support. Funds raised supported Fight4Balance's mission to open Australia’s first adaptive and inclusive gym for youth with functional and intellectual disabilities. Team Jacob Charitable Enterprises Ltd (TJCE) was formally established in September 2022 to raise money and provide much needed funding for organisations that advance the education, employment, health and wellbeing of families working through the challenges of autism. TJCE recognises there are many challenges faced by children with autism and their families and support organisations are in much need of funding to allow them to continue to provide their core services. Devastatingly in March 2026 AEIOU had to shut its doors emphasising the financial challenges support organisation face and the critical nature of the fundraising work Team Jacob must continue to do. We are a registered charity with the ACNC. TJCE is a small group of liked minded individuals who bring capacity and capability together to fund raise and help such support organisations.
