Beresfield Community Care is a not-for-profit In-Home Community Care Provider. We have clients living across the Maitland and Newcastle LGA. We require volunteers to provide essential transport services for our clients who may be aged, living with a disability, or experiencing disadvantage.

Meals on Wheels assist many people in the community to live independently in their own homes by providing a high quality meal delivery service. Our service assist people in maintaining their independence and improve their wellbeing. Maitland Meals on Wheels is looking for Delivery Drivers and Assistants to deliver meals to our client's home while providing brief social interaction and a friendly face.

Volunteer once a week with a fantastic team of medical and non-medical volunteers supporting those who need it most

• Prepare and serve food, set up refreshments for guests
• Engage with visitors, promote National Trust activities
• Training provided in food handling, customer service, Safe Work procedures

• Contribute to sorting, preparing, and delivering donated goods
• Provide excellent service to customers and assist with stock movement
• Physical fitness and manual handling experience preferred; training provided

• Conducting tailored historical tours for diverse visitor groups
• Maintaining historical knowledge and enhancing visitor experiences
• Contributing to conservation efforts and engaging with like-minded community

• Perform day-to-day gardening tasks independently or with a team
• Maintain grounds by mowing, pruning, weeding, and creating plantings
• Receive training on conservation plan and ongoing support from staff

• Sort donated goods for resale in Vinnies shops
• Assist in packing stock and maintaining distribution center cleanliness
• No experience required, training provided; physical ability to lift

• Design, construct, and modify aids for individuals with disabilities
• Undertake projects assigned by Freedom Solutions Project Coordinators
• Work from home or maker space; collaborate with clients and volunteers

• Contribute to shop operations and customer experience
• No experience needed, training provided; retail background welcomed
• Support Vinnies' mission, build friendships, gain retail experience
