HammondCare Central Coast is looking for a volunteer to support a lovely female client living in Somersby who enjoys connection, gentle outings, and shared activities that involve nature, reading, animals, and peaceful environments. She values warm companionship, calm conversation, and a volunteer who shares her interest in plants, the outdoors, and relaxed outings.

• Volunteer to attend live gigs, sports events, and community activities
• Aged 50+ with interest in local music, cinema, and dining
• No specific skills required, just enthusiasm for new experiences

• Female volunteer aged 25-35 for social outings
• Attend events like anime conventions, art, gym with buddy
• No specific skills required, just enthusiasm for social activities

As a Gig Buddies’ volunteer you will assist an adult with mild to moderate learning disability and/or autism to access the community and attend events (and have fun!).

You will be provided training and ongoing support to do this. You and your buddy will go to an event (gig) or catch up once a month for at least 12 months.

You and your buddy choose the events you both want to attend.

• Volunteer for live gigs, sporting events, and community activities
• Engage in various activities like games, coffee, shopping, and movies
• No specific skills required, just a zest for life

• Volunteer to enhance community radio through various roles
• Opportunity to contribute to multimedia expansion and local news
• Receive training and support from Operations Manager for competence

• Provide social support and companionship to older individuals
• Assist with meal preparation, activities, and community engagement
• Training in WHS, Aged Care Quality standards, and Dementia Awareness

• Participate in operational administration tasks based on skills
• Attend quarterly general meetings and pay annual membership fee
• Engage in Disability Services category with regular commitment
