Gosford 50+ Leisure and Learning Centre provides a safe, welcoming environment for people over 50 to engage in activities promoting physical, mental, and social well-being. As a Volunteer Receptionist, you will help create an organised, friendly, and supportive space where seniors feel valued and connected, enabling them to engage fully in centre activities.

By volunteering as a Centre Coordinator, you will directly contribute to the wellbeing of the Gosford 50+ community, creating an environment where individuals can engage in educational and social activities that enrich their lives. Your efforts will support the overall mission of the Centre, ensuring that members enjoy a positive and engaging experience every time they visit.

• Provide support and comfort to families in need
• Volunteer shifts available 7 days a week, various time slots
• Training includes online modules, induction, and buddy shifts

• Collect and transport food donations for community support programs
• Assist with unpacking and storing food items at Gosford Community Hub
• Requirements include driver's license, vehicle with insurance, police check

• Provide social support and companionship to approved Seniors
• Requires driver's license and vehicle for local outings
• Training provided on elder support services and support software

• Provide administrative and data entry support to Vinnies Support Centre
• Assist in client support and maintain accurate records
• Engage with diverse backgrounds, uphold confidentiality, and follow procedures

• Volunteer to mentor a child once a month
• Support child's growth with fun activities and extended network
• Requirements include age over 21, driver's license, training attendance

• Provide friendship and mentoring to a vulnerable child
• Requirements: over 21, training, driver's license, physically fit
• Volunteer commitment: one day per month for at least 6 months

• Match adult volunteers with young people for growth and development
• Commit to regular face-to-face meetings, provide feedback to case manager
• Requirements: over 21, undergo checks, commit for 12 months

• Engage in fun activities to build confidence and life skills
• Support young girls through stable relationships and positive influence
• Requirements include age 21+, background checks, and 12-month commitment

• Female volunteer aged 25-35 for social outings
• Attend events like anime conventions, art, gym with buddy
• No specific skills required, just enthusiasm for social activities

• Weekly/fortnightly social visits with elderly in Central Coast area
• Provide companionship, share stories, and bring joy to clients
• Training provided, commitment of one hour visits for 6+ months

• Manage and develop user-friendly website using WIX platform
• Create engaging social media content to promote activities and events
• Grow online community, respond to comments, and attract new members

• Promote Centre through local media, publications, and networking
• Design promotional materials for events and new groups
• Work from home with occasional visits to the Centre

• Virtual support for aged clients in isolated situations
• Minimum 1 hour per week commitment, with flexibility
• Basic computer skills required; training provided on software and services
