Join this supportive team that helps, not only survivors of domestic violence but anyone in need of assistance. We’re seeking new, kind and skillful volunteers to join our friendly team, so we can continue to support the growing number of vulnerable members of our community. The role involves general maintenance work such as fixing locks and door handles, assisting in the warehouse, tidying and cleaning as required. We have a range of hand tools onsite available for use.

• Collect and deliver unsold bread to community workshop in Tempe
• Drive Toyota HiAce van following planned itinerary, 4.30am - 7.30am
• Minimum commitment of three hours per week, handling bread products

Our programs match those not in regular social contact with people with caring and friendly volunteers. This role involves personal visiting, including social conversations and can include social outings and group activities. This is a Commonwealth-funded Aged Care Program with no charges to the client. This role is available in locations around Cessnock and surrounding suburbs
