We are looking for a brilliant Events Volunteer to help us "Spring to Life" for our Warrah Spring Picnic! A joyful, heartfelt day celebrating and supporting people with profound intellectual disability.
Warrah is a not-for-profit organisation based in Dural, supporting children and adults with disability through a range of tailored services including Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Support, a Biodynamic Farm, an Organic Farm Shop, and a Specialist School.
We have a great volunteer opportunity for a woodwork trainer to share their skills with our students who have moderate to severe disabilities. Your experience can help make a positive difference in their learning.
We have a unique and exciting volunteer opportunity for a talented weaver to share their skills with our students who have moderate to severe disabilities.
We are looking for someone who can help with the gardening or groundsman work at the school. The school grounds need regular cleaning, gardening, trimming bushes and trees, leave blowing etc. Ideally the person can also repair small things and help with small tasks like hanging pictures, building small shelves and etc. Preferably supply own tools.
Join us on the Farm, connect with nature, and get your hands dirty. Volunteer and support the work of Warrah’s Biodynamic Farm. The most popular is joining one of our fortnightly sessions, Friday between 9:00 and 11:00.
