Join Story Factory and spend just 2.5 hours a week making a difference in the lives of young people from marginalised communities. As a volunteer, you will support our Storytellers by encouraging creativity, building confidence, and nurturing a love for writing through fun, engaging activities. No teaching experience needed—just a passion for helping young people express themselves.

Happy, enthusiastic volunteers who like working with children to become Joey Scout Leaders. Joey Scouts are boys and girls aged between 6-8. Come and be a part of the fun.

• Lead youth groups in outdoor and indoor adventurous activities
• Preferred age 18-40 with good communication skills
• Volunteer position in various areas of Sydney, full training provided

• Assist swim coach with participants aged 8 to 60
• Support in-water activities during Friday evening sessions

• Assist Zumba instructor during Tuesday evening classes
• Engage with participants aged 8 to 60, build friendships

• Assist with various recreational and sporting activities for club members
• Opportunity to work with diverse age group and develop skills

• Assist with basketball training for people with disabilities
• Work Wednesday evenings during school terms from 6.30pm-7.30pm
• Training provided by RSAC staff and volunteers

• Lead small group tours at historical and ecological sites
• Contribute to conservation and preservation of natural and cultural heritage
• Engage with community and gain in-depth historical knowledge

• Provide one-on-one IT tuition tailored to seniors' needs
• Conduct sessions at community center booked by Seniors Inc
• Work alongside another IT Tutor to assist seniors effectively

• Supervised driving practice for refugee clients in automatic vehicle
• Assisting disadvantaged communities with Graduated Licensing Scheme compliance
• Minimum 3 years safe driving record, knowledge of NSW road rules

• Support primary school students with homework in group setting
• Tailored activities for Year 1 to Year 6 students' needs
• Develop study habits, promote positive learning, and build confidence

• Support youth program and activities with quarterly meetings
• Coordinate parent body and hall maintenance, field youth enquiries
• Training, uniform, and resources provided for volunteer leadership roles

• Empower young girls through fun and creative activities
• Volunteer roles available for females aged 18 and above
• Training provided for volunteer roles; Working with Children Check required

• Implement and manage training plans, monitor trainee progress
• Oversee assessments, issue certificates, collaborate with core team
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design required

• Engage with migrants and refugees in English language support
• No teaching experience needed; 1 hour weekly commitment required
• Receive free TESOL training, cultural exchange, and resume reference
