Neighbourcare is the local service provider for Community Transport. Volunteers use Neighbourcare’s fleet of well-maintained, branded vehicles to transport clients to attend shopping and/or appointments.

Meals on Wheels assists many people in the community in living independently in their own homes by providing a high-quality meal delivery service. Our service helps people maintain their independence and improve their well-being. Dungog Meals on Wheels is looking for Delivery Drivers and Assistants to deliver meals to our clients' homes while providing brief social interaction and a friendly face.

Dungog & District Neighbourcare is a not-for-profit In-Home Community Care Provider with clients living across the Dungog LGA. We require volunteers to provide companionship and social support for our clients who may be aged, living with disabilities, or experiencing disadvantage. The service provides highly valued social interaction and ensures clients remain connected to the community and functional in their own lives.

• Provide door-through-door service for frail, aged, and disabled
• Assist clients with walkers, wheelchairs, and similar equipment
• Receive training, uniform/PPE, and access to lunchroom facilities

• Provide companionship and social support to aged care residents
• Take residents out for walks or activities; share interests
• Training, support, and supervision provided; one day per week commitment
