Fairfield Children’s Week Event | Tuesday 29 September 2026 | One-day volunteer opportunity Join us as a Children’s Week Event Support Volunteer and help bring Fairfield’s Children’s Week celebration to life. You’ll be part of a friendly team supporting event set up, activities, crowd flow and pack down—no two moments will be the same!

• Provide companionship to elderly gentleman speaking Tagalog
• Minimum commitment of 1 hour visit once a fortnight
• Training, support, and police check covered by the scheme

• Assist with Miracle Moon Walk event for Miracle Babies Foundation
• Roles include cheering, answering queries, and managing junctions
• Volunteer shifts range from 3-5 hours between 3pm - 8pm

• Support Skin Cancer Prevention Unit's Education Stream and SunSmart Program
• Process SunSmart applications, manage resources, and handle data entry
• Required proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress experience beneficial

• Facilitate creative writing sessions for diverse participants
• Develop engaging lesson plans and writing exercises collaboratively
• Passion for creative writing, teaching experience, strong interpersonal skills
