Since its inception, the “Ben’s Place” pantry has grown to become a lifeline for countless individuals and families facing financial hardships, providing them with access to nutritious food and essential supplies. Over 400 households visit the pantry each week, including pensioners, people with disabilities, veterans, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families with young children and people who are homeless.
Cancer Council SA recognises that some people with cancer find talking to someone who has been through a similar experience both reassuring and encouraging.
You will provide a one-to-one telephone (only) support service to people affected by cancer, experiencing a cancer diagnosis, undertaking treatment or encountering survivorship issues. You may provide emotional support, practical information and reassurance to people affected by cancer, survivors, carers or a family member.
City of Armadale Graffiti Removal Team- supported by Armadale Volunteer Services
Volunteer required to assist with the removal of graffiti, either by use of acid and water or painting. All equipment is supplied. Please note this position is advertised through Armadale Volunteer Services.
