• Provide non-clinical social connection to adults experiencing loneliness
• No formal qualifications or experience required; flexible time commitment
• Training, recognition, and insurance coverage provided for volunteers

• Provide regular friendly check-ins via phone or online
• Offer warm companionship and respect privacy/confidentiality practices
• Flexible commitment of 1-2 hours per week, online induction provided

• Utilize PR strategies to raise awareness and amplify impact
• Draft media releases, secure media opportunities, and shape messaging
• Experience in PR, strong writing skills, and interest in education

• Provide coaching and mentoring to scholarship recipients monthly
• Support scholars in goal setting, advocacy, and accessing resources
• Minimum 1-year commitment, degree qualified or HMEF Alumnae

• Provide daily morning telephone calls for wellbeing check-ins
• Offer social chat calls to those in need of companionship
• Training provided for volunteers in seniors services and support

• Pair up with individual with similar interests for monthly activities
• Advocate for inclusion and support social well-being
• Training provided; commitment to attend at least one gig/month

• Volunteers needed for telephone support on National helpline
• Training provided in Sydney, commitment every 2-3 weeks
• No prior knowledge required, practice listening skills, community service

• Digitize natural history collections from global institutions
• Transcribe handwritten notes, process animal photos, join scientific expeditions
• No experience needed, training provided, flexible hours, remote volunteering

• Provide tutoring and mentoring to high school students
• Utilize online platforms like Google Meet, Zoom, MS Teams
• One hour per week commitment after school hours

Since its inception, the “Ben’s Place” pantry has grown to become a lifeline for countless individuals and families facing financial hardships, providing them with access to nutritious food and essential supplies. Over 400 households visit the pantry each week, including pensioners, people with disabilities, veterans, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, families with young children and people who are homeless.
